Terms of service

Last updated August 10, 2026. Please read these before using Queued.

1. Who these terms are between

Queued (“Queued”, “we”, “us”) provides queue management software for walk-in businesses. These terms are an agreement between Queued and you — either a business using the dashboard (a “Shop”) or a member of the public joining a Shop's queue (a “Client”). By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use it.

2. The service

Queued lets a Shop publish a QR code that Clients scan to join a live queue from their phone, and lets the Shop manage that queue from a dashboard. We provide the software. We do not provide the haircut, the tattoo, the manicure, or any other service a Shop performs — the Shop is solely responsible for what it sells and how it treats its customers.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 to create a Shop account.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done under your account.
  • The information you give us — shop name, address, contact details — must be accurate, and you must have the right to publish it.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

4. Joining a queue

Clients join by scanning a Shop's QR code in person. To keep queues fair, we limit each device to one join per Shop per day and we identify devices using a browser fingerprint. A Shop can remove a Client from its queue, and can block a device from rejoining after repeated removals.

A place in a queue is not a reservation, a booking, or a guarantee of service. Wait estimates are estimates. A Shop may close, run late, or stop taking walk-ins at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Join a queue you aren't physically present for, or attempt to bypass the QR, token, or device checks.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, sexual, violent, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Upload a photo of a person who hasn't agreed to it being shared with the Shop.
  • Impersonate another person or business.
  • Probe, scrape, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Use the service to harass, discriminate against, or unlawfully exclude anyone.

We may suspend or terminate access for any of the above, and a Shop may remove or ban a device from its own queue at its discretion.

6. Content you upload

You keep ownership of photos and other content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, display, and process that content solely to operate the service — for example, showing a Client's reference photo to the Shop serving them.

Uploaded images are scanned automatically for adult, violent, and sexually suggestive content before they are shown. Automated screening is not perfect, and we don't review every image by hand. We may remove any content at any time. Client reference photos are deleted once the visit is complete.

7. Shop responsibilities

If you run a Shop, you are the controller of your customers' information in your queue. You are responsible for handling it lawfully, for the accuracy of what you publish about your business, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business — including consumer protection, accessibility, and anti-discrimination law.

8. Fees and free trial

Queued is offered as a single subscription at $20 per month, billed monthly in advance. New Shops get a 14-day free trial of the full service. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged.

The subscription renews each month until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time — access continues to the end of the period you've paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable. We'll give reasonable notice before changing the price.

9. Availability

We work to keep Queued running, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service depends on third parties including Google Firebase and Vercel, and on your own internet connection. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Keep a fallback for busy periods — a pen and paper still works when the internet doesn't.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Queued will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You can stop using Queued at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law. On termination your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, liability limits — do.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page, and we'll give notice of material changes where practical. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
